Moksha: (Heated) Our signature hot yoga series comprised of roughly 40 postures.
The ultimate yoga workout. Classes are open to all levels.
Moksha Flow: This fun class takes the regular moksha series and connects the postures with more fluid movement. Offered in a 60 min format.
Economy: (Heated and Non-Heated- check the schedule) A class for $7!
Class passes can be applied if desired.
Karma: (Heated) A regular heated Moksha class offered on a donation basis
($7 minimum). Proceeds go to local charities. Class passes cannot be used for this class.
Community: (Heated and Non-Heated- check the schedule) Moksha, Ashtanga or
Vinyasa class taught by new instructors. $7 for a drop in, or use your class pass.
Silent: (Heated) Moksha class done to soft music or silence, teacher
leads students through postures; not suitable for first timers.
Hatha Flow: (Reduced Heat) Take a break form the Moksha series. A reduced heat class open to all levels. Each week offers something different.
Yin: (Non-Heated; with the exception of Thursday 9:30am) A system of yoga designed to
literally open the body up, peeling away layers of stress, injury and tension that reside within. Yin uses longer holds to get
beyond the muscle tissue into connective tissue, the fascia of the body. A great compliment to your regular practice! Thursday's
class is heated, Sunday's
class is not heated.
Restorative: (Non-Heated) Finish your day with relaxing poses,
soft music and inspiring readings. Similar to Yin, poses are held for long durations and a variety of props are used to help to
support the body as it relaxes all tension away.
Ashtanga: (Non-Heated; with the exception of when schedule says otherwise) A style of yoga transmitted to the modern world
by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Involves synchronization of the breath with each vinyasa, or movement. Postures are progressive and work
to create heat within the body. Classes are not heated.
Vinyasa Flow: (Heated) Creative, progressive, full spectrum sequences linked together through the breathwave. Reduced heat.
Jivamukti: A vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating yoga class with ever-changing asana sequences and music playing an integral role in the class. Classes include Vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, Sanskrit chanting, Yogic philosophical teachings and deep relaxation.
Yin/Meditation:
This class begins with targeting the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised in a more active style of asana practice. Students will then be led in 2 short guided meditation sessions designed to assist them in building a daily meditation practice.
Moksha/Yin:
You'll be guided through a vigorous first half with a Moksha Flow, and will be slowing it down to enjoy a soothing yin practice to calm the body and the mind. Heated class.
Prenatal: (Non-Heated) Classes are 75 minutes in length and are open to women of all levels of experience and all stages of pregnancy! Pre-registration required! For class dates and times, click here.
Iyengar Flow: (Reduced Heat) Iyengar yoga is structural and precise. This system of yoga works on increasing overall body awareness. Expect to hold poses longer while focusing on proper alignment. Reduced heat.
Power Flow: A Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on core strengthening.
Moksha/Vinyasa:
This class will replace the intermediate Ashtanga class at 7:30pm on Tuesdays. The class will now be a hot class, it will be taught by the same great teachers, will still include the sun salutations and many of your favourite poses from Ashtanga yoga. The class will also include some poses and sequencing from our regular Moksha class, giving you a perfectly balanced, best-of-both-worlds class. This class will be a work-out.... BE PREPARED TO SWEAT!
Class Levels:
If the level is not specified on the schedule, the class is open to all levels.
Beginner: Recommended for beginners to yoga, or those looking to gain a more fundamental knowledge of a particular practice.
Beginner/ Intermediate: Familiarity with basic sun salutations and yoga postures an asset. Beginners are still welcome.
Just follow along as best you can and take breaks where needed!
Intermediate: yoga experience required. Students should have knowledge and practice of, basic sun salutations and yoga postures. Within Ashtanga yoga, these classes are comparable to a level 1 class (half of primary series).
Intermediate/ Advanced: not suitable for beginners to yoga. Classes move at a fast pace.
- Classes are on a Drop-in basis! Reservations or pre-registration are not necessary.
You come to any time that suits your schedule.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to class time, latecomers are not permitted. For everyone's benefit,
we ask that you respect this rule. It is extremely hard for us to turn away someone who is
7 minutes late due to traffic however we must enforce this rule.
- Bring a LARGE towel, yoga mat and a bottle of water to class. Towels and mats are available for rent. For environmental reasons we do not sell plastic bottles here so be sure to bring your own reusable to fill up! Filtered water is available.
